DisplayMode continues with investments in people and capability

Despite the well-reported struggles of the retail sector DisplayMode, a UK-based company that designs, manufactures and supplies point of purchase displays, continues to thrive and invest in its future. Some highlights in recent months include:

  • The investment of a six-figure sum into new production machinery. This includes a 3rd CNC router and a range of supporting woodworking kit, which delivers a huge capacity gain and enhances the current in-house capabilities
  • Two new senior appointments. One to head up the DisplayMode Americas division, to support market entry and to better serve new and existing customers. And the appointment of a new Sales Director to be based in the UK, who, with almost three decades of industry experience, is a significant addition to the sales account management team
  • Strengthening of the production team. The creation of an Operations Manager role, to support and develop the Production Manager and his team, although not within the existing business plan, it came about after recognising a new employee’s skills, experience and ability.

Leon Edwards, DisplayMode Managing Director, explains, “These are great examples of us demonstrating, in practice, our reputation for investing in our people and our factory. We are adding expertise and capability wherever we can. It made sense for the team, and for our customers, so we found a way to make it happen”.

There can be no doubt that the retail industry is experiencing some tough times, but DisplayMode is playing their part in helping retailers and brand-owners through this period of difficulty by continuing to seek ways to offer better value and creative solutions.

Edwards continues, “We will continue to make strategic investments to the benefit of our service and capabilities which will enable us to react better to customer requirements. Providing a faster turn-around through our simplified supply chain, and improved manufacturing we can solve problems in better ways”.
